About this project
Blood donation is one of the most noble acts of service to humanity. Understanding the continuous requirement of safe blood for patients, accident victims, and people undergoing critical medical treatments, Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Meadows conducted the Jeevanabindu Blood Donation Camp as part of its commitment towards community health and humanitarian service.
The camp provided an opportunity for employees, Rotarians, and community members to voluntarily donate blood and contribute towards saving lives. The collected blood units will support hospitals and patients in need through the Red Cross Regional Blood Center.
The project reflects Rotary’s vision of “Service Above Self” and aligns with the Rotary theme “Create Lasting Impact” by promoting compassion, awareness, and community participation.
Impact
Through Jeevanabindu – A Drop for Life, Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Meadows created awareness about the importance of regular blood donation and inspired individuals to become lifesavers. Every unit of blood collected has the potential to give hope and a new chance of life to patients in need.
